Kim de Haan is an illustrator and writer who creates warm, optimistic stories for kids. A lifelong bookworm, she spent over a decade working in architecture and design before realising she wanted to be on the other side of the book too. She illustrated The Jolly Swagman (Woodslane Press, 2024) and is the creator of the Daisy and Bug graphic novel series.
Kim lives on Guringai Land in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. If she’s not busy creating stories, she’s probably crafting, cooking something delicious, or enjoying a hard earned nap –something Bug would definitely approve of.
