Kurt Mead is the head Interpretive Naturalist at Minnesota’s Tettegouche State Park along the North Shore of Lake Superior. He is also the founder and former coordinator for the Minnesota Odonata Survey Project and helped form the non-profit Minnesota Dragonfly Society. Kurt regularly gives talks and workshops on dragonfly identification and ecology. He has a BS in biology and a BFA in art from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Although he has chased dragonflies in Canada and various places in Europe, he is blessed to make his home in the North Woods near Finland, Minnesota.
