A young girl finds strength and comfort in a muddy puddle when she feels disconnected from home.

A young girl called Rosie faces a quiet and uncertain time at home. Feeling disconnected, she finds comfort in a muddy puddle outside. Each action she takes – whether it’s placing a leaf, dropping a rock, or jumping in – gives her a sense of control. With each ripple and splash, Rosie discovers that change is a part of life and something she can face and manage.

Muddy Puddle is a gentle, tender story, filled with artwork that perfectly captures the themes of resilience and self-empowerment. The story demonstrates that while we are unable to control everything, we can still navigate change.
