Bulk Nuts is a trove of relaxedly funny and touching graphic stories, depicting preoccupations, incidents and mysteries that resonate with many of us. Mandy Ord is a comic artist, illustrator and educator, from Melbourne, Australia. Her comic stories have appeared in a variety of local and international publications, such as Meanjin, The Age, Going Down Swinging, Le Monde Diplomatique with The Goethe Institute, The Suburban Review and The Lifted Brow. Her published books include Rooftops (Finlay Lloyd, 2008), Sensitive Creatures (Allen & Unwin, 2011) and she illustrated Chalk Boy (Allen & Unwin, 2018), a children’s book written by Margaret Wild. Most recently her book, When One Person Dies The Whole World is Over (Brow Books, 2020), was long-listed for The Stella Prize and shortlisted for the Small Press Network Book of the Year.
