Fearless Flying Fannie
Fannie is a young girl who loves watching the birds flying outside her Miami home by the ocean. She wants to soar and glide and fly through the sky all day like them, too. One day, a baby bird lands on her terrace and can’t fly away. When Fannie rescues the little bird, it is the beginning of an adventure, and a friendship, like no other.

Eliot Hess is a photographer, cookbook author, mystery book and art collector and world traveller. He co-founded a marketing and public relations firm with his wife, Lois, that's been responsible for introducing numerous consumer electronics products, changing the modern world. He lives in Miami Beach, where the inspiration for Fannie began.
Jayda Knight (aka Flying Knight) is a visual street artist based in Miami Beach known for her playful, idiosyncratic aesthetic. Flying Knight has collaborated with several institutions including the Miami City Ballet, Oolite Arts, Lincoln Road Improvement District and Timeout, and is a grant recipient from The Gottlieb Foundation, Oolite Arts and Miami-Dade Cultural Affairs. Knight received a BFA & BArch from Rhode Island School of Design.
