About the Author:
Dannika Patterson is a children's author and workshop presenter with degrees in Psychology and Journalism. She is the author of more than 12 picture books and early reader titles published across trade, education, independent and not-for-profit markets. Dannika's writing and related school workshops aim to uplift and spark wonder, helping to foster ecological, social and self-awareness in a gentle, joyful way.
About the Illustrator:
Ross Morgan is an award-winning fine artist and illustrator with a genuine interest in stories that explore sensitive, heartfelt topics and emotive characters. His background as an exhibition artist, portrait painter and surrealist have given him a unique approach to illustrating books. He loves searching for quiet little moments that are filled with magic. In 2019, Ross won the Raising Literacy Australia’s Emerging Writer and Illustrator Mentoring Program. In 2021, he was shortlisted in the 2021 SCBWI Australian Picture Book Illustrator Award (emerging illustrator).
