Dr. Frank H. Boehm spent nearly five decades as an OBGYN serving high-risk pregnancy patients. Boehm has authored two books that deal with patient-physician relationships: Doctors Cry, Too and Building Patient-Doctor Trust–based on his eighteen-year bi-monthly op-ed column "Healing Words" in The Tennessean. For fifteen years, Boehm served as the Chair of the Vanderbilt Medical Center Ethics Committee and Vice-Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
