Janet’s series of four levels is geared toward the beginner, covering all the basic skills to help people start sewing on their own. In LEVEL ONE sew samples for a notebook or a child-sized or adult-sized butcher-style apron, using the included Apron for Artist's & Chef's Learn-to-Sew Pattern. This is the first level of a four-level program. LEVEL TWO features a kimono-style robe, and LEVEL THREE features two-piece pajamas. Pati Palmer is the CEO of Palmer/Pletsch Publishing, a designer and consultant for the McCall Pattern Company, and the author of Fit for Real People, Mother Pletsch’s Painless Sewing and Pants for Real People. They both live in Portland, Oregon.
