Letters to Never Send Santa
Confessions, Complaints, and Outlandish Requests from the Desk of St. Nick

Age range 8 to 11
Santa shares some of the funniest (and oddest) letters he’s received from children this year!
Perhaps not letters that should ever have been sent, this collection of poems is what leads Santa to wonder if kids (and some grown-ups too) these days actually want a permanent spot on his naughty kid list.
So Santa decided to publish a collection of these letters — this volume of The Santa Files.
For example:
PLEASE READ MY LIST
Though I hate to confess it
I just have to address it:
You don’t get me the things that I ask.
Far too often my box
Is filled with new socks
Mr. Kringle—I gave you one task!
So I’m giving you notice
In the hopes that you’ll focus
And deliver the things that you’ve missed.
If you really do care
Please—no underwear.
Just get me the things on my list!
Seasons greetings,
Pallavi
