After Noah and Dad leave for a lacrosse tournament, Sassafrass and her Mom get to spend a wonderful weekend together with their friends. From tobogganing to skating, to writing and singing a song for their moms, everyone had the best day ever. Nancy is a long-time figure skating and power skating coach in Ontario. She is the author of "My Skating Dream," the incredible journey of a girl named Sassafrass in pursuit of becoming the best figure skater she can be. She also wrote "It's More Than Hockey" with her husband Neil. In the book, Sassafrass and Noah meet their new hockey coach and teammates who make them feel needed, wanted and welcome. They learn valuable life lessons that will stay with them forever. Although Sassafrass and Noah love to play hockey, they realize it's more than hockey.
This is the third book Noorpreet has illustrated in the "Adventures With Sassafrass" book series. Noorpreet is a grade 9 student who loves to spend her spare time doing martial arts and creating art work.
