Cheryll Johns is a South Australian based artist and illustrator. My Friend the Idea is Cheryll’s first book that she has both written and illustrated. Cheryll studied at the University of South Australia completing a Bachelor of Design, majoring in illustration. After a stint at an advertising company in Sydney, then a design studio in Adelaide, she decided to focus on her illustrations
