Autobiographical poems reimagine personal encounters through various metaphorical and structural lenses; poems that attune to spaces and environments, in some cases responding to national disasters and the fallout; poems that speak to cultural tradition and difference; poems that cover travel narratives (contemporary/personal as well as historical exploration); biographical poems; and poems that push theboundaries of the nonfiction classification (using techniques of collage and quotation from songs, literature, tweets and paintings, to construct a sort of intertextual nonfiction).
