Kevin Brophy is a prize-winning poet, essayist and fiction writer. He has collaborated with a range of other writers, artists and musicians on many projects. This is his first collaboration on a children’s book.

Jules Ober is an image-maker working across platforms as diverse as fine art photography, design, film & multimedia production. Her book The Good Son, created in collaboration with Pierre-Jacques Ober, was shortlisted for the 2020 CBCA Picture Book of the Year, and won both the NSW Premier’s Young People’s History Prize and the French Prix Sorcières.
