Michelle Worthington was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and currently lives
in the Redland City. Since a very early age, Michelle has had a love for words and rhyme, and has always excelled at English and creative writing. Michelle has three boys who love to read and she has read them a bedtime story every night of their lives. They are her inspiration and motivation. She is an international
award-winning author and businesswoman, and a real life bookfairy. Zoe Bennett is a children’s illustrator from Sydney. She creates character-driven watercolour, gouache and digital illustrations which capture the playfulness, curiosity, candidness and diversity of childhood. Designing unique characters and worlds with tailored colour palettes and style is her favourite thing to do. Ruby’s Repair Cafe is her second picture book. Outside illustration, Zoe is passionate about animal welfare advocacy and is finishing a degree in Animal Health and Welfare from the University of Sydney.
