Corinne Fenton has established a reputation for writing beautiful picture-book histories of animals whose lives have become legendary. Her books Little Dog and the Christmas Wish and One Christmas Eve were chosen as themes for the Myer Christmas Windows. In 2020 she was asked to write a story for the 2020 Myer Christmas Windows. Mark Wilson is an award-winning author/illustrator with 27 books in print worldwide in 14 languages. He grew up with a love of comics, drawing, rock music, Australian history and endangered species - exploring most of these themesthrough his writing, illustrating, paintings and workshops. He has won five Whitley Awards for children’s literature, nine CBCA Awards, four Wilderness Society Awards and the 3rd C.J. Picture Book International Award. Mark was presented with the 2011 Dromkeen Medal for Services to Children’s Literature. He hopes his books and workshops encourage students to study not only their own family history, but Australian history, native species and conservation.
