Dr Mark Carthew (PhD) is an award-winning Australian children’s author, editor, poet, musician and educator, well known for his books and series celebrating music, movement, drama, humour and wordplay. Anil Tortop was born and raised in Turkey, and moved to Australia in early 2011. She used to work as an animator but has been called away from this career as her relationship with children’s books became more serious. With a fondness for the ‘undo’ button, she primarily works digitally to create professional work. Some of her best-known books are Bat vs Poss, A First Time for Everything and Tippy and Jellybean.
