You will come to believe the unbelievable in this family fiction adventure. Lindsey is a young investigative reporter who finds herself lost in a peculiar city when she strikes out to catch her big break on a top story. She discovers rather quickly that she must unravel its mysterious history and navigate the menacing threat of its unscrupulous ruler, all while trying to find a way home. This spunky investigator is just the one to pull apart his evil scheme and expose his murderous ways. She quite literally puts him in his place before he knows what hit him.
In the meantime, her father Lucas begins an undaunted search against all odds to find her. Fate takes over and teams him up with Jonathan, who believes she is in the same place as his son who's been missing for 22 years. Together, their journey hits the high seas and lands them in the middle of the most incredible adventure that neither of them imagined. Along the way, they decipher an ancient journal in an unknown language and uncover a plot for power and control.
Amid the mystery, intrigue, and raw emotions, this story is flavored with just the right touch of love, romance, and humor. The unbelievable becomes believable, and the inconceivable collides with family connections, faith, and perseverance, bringing this adventure to a heart-stopping conclusion.

Contributor Bio

Born and raised in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, Elaine is a true country girl at heart. In addition to writing, she enjoys the countryside, nature hikes, gardening, animals, home décor, design, oldies, and classical music. She is a mother to two and a Nana to 4 awesome grandkids, all of whom she adores. She has been writing as a hobby for about 20 years and has created a personal collection of children's stories, poetry, and short stories. It wasn't until she retired, however, that she took on the task of finishing her first novel, "The Sargasso Secret." She started writing the story about 15 years ago but laid it aside due to work demands. Elaine hopes that everybody enjoys reading this great story as much as she enjoyed writing it. She finds writing fiction exuberating because she loves the challenge of making the unbelievable 'believable,' and plans to write two more novels soon.
