Mike Lucas is the author of several picture books and poetry anthologies. His first YA novel was published in 2022. Originally from the UK, he now lives in Adelaide, where he works as an engineer and runs an independent bookstore with his wife, Becky. He has a passion for encouraging children to use imagination and creativity to produce original stories and poetry. MidnightSun published his children’s book Olivia’s Voice in 2017 and Vanishing in 2018, both beautifully illustrated by Jennifer Harrison.
Jennifer Harrison is an illustrator based in Adelaide, Australia. She has studied graphic design and she has illustrated a number of children’s books. Her illustrations have been commissioned for magazines, packaging design and book covers, and she has exhibited her work at various galleries. She has loved drawing since childhood and has a grey cat called Archer.
