Lesbian poetry; explores the inheritance of grief and her Jewish ancestry; examines the modern-day hypocrisies of American citizens, such as racial prejudices and sexual objectification (timely!); The Boston Book Review compares Jane Miller's "careening, associative" verse to the paintings of Jackson Pollock and Jasper Johns. All are inventive, energetic, and risky.
