NewSouth Books is the sales and distribution division of UNSW Press and has been operating for more than 25 years.

Our strength lies in the boutique nature of our business and our ability to give devoted time and energy to all of our publishers’ lists across all stages of the distribution process. We are motivated to forge new relationships with like-minded publishers and excited to promote and sell the new ideas, stories, literary perspectives and academic arguments they bring with them to our market.

Publisher distribution:

We consider exceptional applications from experienced publishers with a proven record of producing high quality books suitable for our market and that complement our existing range.

Self-published book distribution:

We know how much work goes into publishing a book and appreciate the effort self-published authors have gone to. However, we do not take on self-published books for distribution.
