Dr. Spot Casebook

An innovative series of brightly-coloured children's picture books on the subject of childhood ailments, suitable for 4-7 year-olds. Featuring a range of jungle animal characters and the aptly named leopard doctor Dr Spot, the series uses stories about young animals to offer information and reassurance to children suffering from a range of common illnesses or complaints. A special Parents' Page at the back of each book provides practical information on recognizing and easing symptoms and seeking medical help. In "Rachel has Eczema" Rachel the rhino is starting school but when she arrives all her classmates shy away. She looks so ugly! Dr Spot comes to the rescue and helps sort out the problem. Soon Rachel is feeling better - and she is even look forward to going to school again!
