Jackson Ryan is an award-winning science writer and investigative journalist focusing on climate change, space, biotech, health, video games and human beings. He was awarded the 2022 Eureka Prize for Science Journalism and has featured in The Best Australian Science Writing in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Carl Smith is a Walkley award-winning science journalist in ABC RN’s Science Unit. He specialises in making audio documentaries and written features from far-flung locations and also co-hosts the children’s ethics podcast Short & Curly.
